John Kennedy
Project Manager
Having joined the CertaPro Painters in 2008, John Kennedy brings with him a long history of managing operations and projects spanning more than 20 years. As a Project Manager for CertaPro Commercial Services, John has a day to day responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with franchisees and clients. John also has a particular focus on recruiting new commercially certified franchisees and contractors to enhance our national coverage and meet the increasing demand for our services.
Scott Helsel
Project Manager
Scott Helsel joins CertaPro in 2008, and comes with 20 years plus of management & executive experience in the service industry. Scott holds a Project Management Professional Designation (PMP) along with a Business Degree. As a Project Manager, Scott assists his team of Project Coordinators with meeting customer expectations and delivering quality projects on time. Scott has a particular focus on ensuring CertaPro’s standard operating & quality procedures remain best in class.
Alisia DeMelo
Project Coordinator
With CertaPro since 2007, Alisia brings 4 years of customer and administrative skills from a variety of positions: communications and account payables at the Trillium Health Centre; in the construction field as a junior technician for Sound Environments, as well as receptionist/service coordinator for Pace Construction. Alisia holds a diploma as a sound engineer from the International Academy of Design and Technology, and is currently working towards her Project Management certification at Humber College. As a Project Coordinator, Alisia is able to take on a variety of projects including large programs, managing house accounts as well as coordinating office facilities.
Joanne Bourne-James
Project Coordinator
Joanne Bourne-James joined CertaPro in 2008; recently Joanne has completed a 3-year study in Architectural Technology at George Brown College and also holds an Accounting diploma from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. Prior to that, Joanne worked for 12 years as a Financial Analyst for companies such as GlaxoSmithKline Inc and Mattel-Fisher Price. Joanne is currently working towards her Project Management certificate at Sheridan College. As a Project Coordinator Joanne ensures that schedules, quality execution and budgets are executed and delivered. Joanne also has a particular focus on recruiting new commercially certified franchisees and contractors to enhance our national coverage and meet the increasing demand for our services.
Emi TakedaProject Coordinator
Emi Takeda joined CertaPro in 2008; she comes to CertaPro Painters with experience in project coordination, sales, service and design from The Home Depot. Emi is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from York University. Emi is a great fit with CertaPro Painters Commercial Services as she has many years of experience in a service industry, working with customers, contractors and vendors on a daily basis. As a Project Coordinator for National Accounts, Emi’s responsibilities include managing large remodel and refresh programs; specialty projects and handling house accounts.
Ryan ChristieProject Coordinator
Ryan Christie joined CertaPro in July 2008. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Brock University and he has attained his Project Management Professional designation (PMP). Prior to joining CertaPro, Ryan worked at Laborie Medical Technologies as an IT/Plant Manager, a Project Manager and a variety of other roles over a 10 year period. As a project coordinator, Ryan’s role is to ensure that projects keep moving and come to a successful completion.
