Ian Van Heyst

Director of Commercial Services

Ian is in his seventh year with CertaPro. His 20 years in painting industry management bring effective customer needs analysis, appropriate client program design with tight Standard Operating Procedures (“SOPs”), and quality execution in the field. As the National Accounts team leader, Ian aims to deliver Certainty to every client location that CertaPro touches.

Peter Ducharme

National Account Manager

Peter brings to CertaPro 22 years experience within the commercial paint industry. Prior to joining CertaPro, Peter has held responsible positions for Sherwin Williams and the ICI Paint Company. His extensive knowledge of painting systems, project management, and production have allowed his clients to experience consistently well-maintained facilities, while saving time and reducing inconvenience. In his role as National Accounts Manager, Peter develops and builds long-term partnerships, manages SOPs, and ensures successful completion of all clients’ painting projects.

Glen Steel

National Account Manager

Glen brings to CertaPro 30 years experience in the painting and decorating industry. Prior to joining CertaPro, Glen held positions with commercial paint companies: managing projects and meeting timelines. Most recently, he transferred from paint manufacturer ICI Paints, having most recently held the position of National Accounts Manager responsible for the creation, co-ordination, and effective communication of consistent corporate programs. His driving challenge is to provide his customers with solutions borne from standard operating procedures. In the CertaPro role of National Accounts Manager, Glen develops customer confidence by applying his management skills to produce successful projects for his customers.

Mike Coghlan

National Account Manager

Mike joined CertaPro National Accounts team in December 2005 bringing 15 years of professional experience in corporate business development, consultative sales, marketing, operations management and client customer service. Prior to joining CertaPro, Mike was a Major Account Sales District Manager in Cincinnati for ADP, a Fortune 100 organization. Mike also worked as Assistant Vice President Business Development heading up the Cincinnati office for The American Arbitration Association and as a Regional Account Manager for two privately held corporations covering six states. Mike holds an M.B.A. in Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Labor Relations. As National Accounts Manager for CertaPro, Mike will focus on assisting clients in outsourcing their commercial projects to achieve greater bottom-line results with increased efficiency while providing National Commercial program accounts with world class service. Mike will focus on developing and managing long-term partnerships with larger corporate clients in the Retail, Hospitality and Restaurant sector.

Anthony Jowid

National Account Manager – West Region

After four years at CertaPro, Jowid recently accepted the position of national account manager for the West Region, and will develop and maintain relationships with retail, hospitality and restaurant clients interested in reducing cycle time and costs on commercial projects. Jowid will be the point of contact and project coordinator for all sites across CertaPro’s 250+ franchisees throughout North America.

Jowid joined CertaPro in December 2002 as a general manager and spent the last four years recruiting, training, supporting and developing new and existing franchisees throughout North America.

Prior to joining CertaPro, Jowid was founder/vice president of marketing and operations for Marathon Development Group, which developed residential communities on golf and lakeside properties. He worked as a regional marketing and operations manager for Netigy Corporation, and as director of sales and business development for Mix Express Ltd, the largest consumer product distribution firm in Bulgaria. Jowid also served as marketing consultant for Bokar Ltd., doing real estate development and construction.

Jowid holds an M.B.A. and B.B.A from the University of Notre Dame where he was an assistant director for the University of Notre Dame MBA Program.

Marcia Mead

National Account Manager – Central Region

Marcia joined the CertaPro Commercial Services team this year with 6 years of experience in the painting industry. In August 2001, Marcia opened a CertaPro franchise in Kansas City which she owned and operated for 3 years. In October 2004, after selling her franchise, Marcia joined the CertaPro franchise recruiting team. After recruiting new franchise owners for 3 years, Marcia made the move over to the Commercial Services team where she is responsible for the development and maintenance of Retail, Restaurant, Hospitality, and GC clients who are interested in managing costs with CertaPro's single point of contact and project management expertise. Prior to CertaPro Painters, Marcia graduated from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, in 1997, and worked in the fields of marketing and purchasing in a variety of manufacturing industries.

Justin Diamond

Project Coordinator

Justin brings 5 years of project management experience to the CertaPro Commercial Services team. He is also a trained facility manager with experience with industrial, commercial, and office environments. His specific project management skills include an emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and communication.
